About DESSA Roof
The DESSA temporary roofing system is a proven aluminium temporary roofing solution designed to integrate seamlessly with scaffolding. Based around the use of the 0.45m, 0.78m and 1.33m alloy lattice beams, DESSA Roof provides strength, flexibility, and ease of use across a wide variety of applications. Standard bay sizes are available at 2.072m, 2.572m, 3.072m widths, with bespoke bay options available on request for specialised projects.
With span capabilities of up to 50m, and roofing configurations including Mono Pitch, Duo Pitch 18° and 36°, DESSA Roof is a versatile choice. For more than 25 years, it has delivered reliable protection for industrial, commercial, heritage, and domestic projects where robust temporary roofing is essential.
Safe, Fast, and Flexible Installation
DESSA Roof has been engineered with safety and efficiency in mind. Hand, crane, and roll-out erection methods are all supported, offering flexibility to suit site requirements while reducing the need to work at height. This not only minimises risk but also speeds up both build and dismantle times.
The system uses a Keder-based sheeting track profile, allowing sheets to be quickly pulled into position to enclose each bay. This efficient design ensures strong weatherproofing without the excessive cost often associated with large-scale temporary roofing.
Large roofing projects naturally generate significant rainwater run-off, which can risk damage to works beneath. DESSA Roof addresses this challenge with Deep Flow sheet tracking, a heavy-duty aluminium profile with an integrated gutter system. This allows efficient water management, directing rainwater safely away while maximising the protection offered by the temporary roof cover.
Integrated joining method – fewer parts on-site, eliminating manual assembly.
Efficient rainwater channelling using integrated sealed spigot.
Fully compatible with existing DESSA Roof / Ubix systems.
Strong aluminium profile enabling 2mtr – 2.4mtr bracing intervals.
Removable spigot to enable staggered bays if required.
Increased weatherproofing.
Reduced Mono pitch roof angle down to 9 degrees.
